While this virus has been around for some time, it currently steals the spotlight from the influenza virus and is one of the hottest news topics trending on prime time and social media.​
As Medical Cadets, we have a unique opportunity to stem the flow of misinformation and disseminate information that will institute calm. The CDC has issued guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19. The short version is that the precautions are similar to that of preventing the 'flu: Wash your hands, use hand sanitizer containing greater than 60% alcohol and avoid touching your face. We will add: get adequate rest, nutrition & hydration and trust in God.
